I support parents of children ages 5–14. These are the growing years when children experience tremendous social, emotional, developmental, and personal change.

These years bring new questions, challenges, and incredible opportunities for growth. Children are discovering who they are, developing independence, navigating relationships, and learning how to manage increasingly complex emotions. Parents are learning how to support them through each stage while maintaining the connection that matters most.

Parents often seek support as children navigate:

  • Emotional regulation and “big feelings”

  • Friendship struggles and changing social dynamics

  • Building confidence and resilience

  • Anxiety and worries

  • School transitions, including the move to middle school

  • Growing independence and changing parent-child relationships

  • Building their resilience tolerance

You may find yourself wondering:

“Is this behavior typical?”

“How can I better understand my child?”

“How do I support my child while going through this stage?”

I provide guidance to help parents better understand their children and navigate these important years with confidence, compassion, and connection.

Who I Serve

How I Help Parents Navigate

The Growing Years

Parenting is a journey of learning and growth for children and for parents.

My approach begins with four essential steps:

See the child.
Look beyond the behavior to recognize the whole child; their personality, developmental stage, emotions, strengths, and unique experiences.

Understand the child.
Explore what your child may be communicating through their words, actions, and behaviors. Understanding creates the foundation for responding with compassion and intention.

Connect with the child.
Build a relationship where your child feels known, accepted, valued, and supported. Connection creates the safety children need to grow.

Guide the child.
Once we understand and connect, we can develop thoughtful strategies that help children build resilience, confidence, emotional awareness, problem-solving skills, and a growing sense of independence.

But this journey is not only about understanding your child.

One of the most important and often overlooked parts of parenting is understanding ourselves.

The way we respond to our children is shaped by our own experiences, beliefs, emotions, and triggers. Developing self-awareness allows parents to respond with greater patience, purpose, and connection.

Together, we explore questions such as:

  • Why is this behavior a trigger point?

  • What assumptions am I making about my child?

  • What story am I telling myself about what is happening?

  • How can I respond in a way to support my child’s needs and still stay within the boundaries of our values?

When parents understand both their children and themselves, they are better equipped to navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create the kind of connection that helps families thrive.

I believe that meaningful support begins with a relationship built on trust, understanding, and connection. Before beginning ongoing sessions, I offer a complimentary 30 minute virtual conversation where we can get to know one another, discuss your concerns, and determine if my approach is the right fit for your family.

This time allows us to talk about what you are experiencing, what you hope to better understand, and how I may be able to support you as you navigate the growing years.

If we decide that working together feels like the right fit, we will begin personalized virtual sessions designed around your family's unique needs.

Virtual Sessions are 50 minutes and provide a dedicated space to explore your concerns, gain a deeper understanding of your child, and develop practical strategies that strengthen connection, build resilience, and support your child's growth.

Fee: $90 per 50-minute session

Together, we will focus on understanding what is happening, identifying meaningful next steps, and creating approaches that honor both your child's needs and your family's values.
